Well to start off... I thought I would write about my adventures in my little fiat seicento. What you've got to realise is... i've only been qualified to drive for a month and to be honest, i've found the whole experience a mixture of enjoyment and pleasure with scary moments which have nearly caused my heart to pop out of my chest!

So what has my first month been like so far? Well I live in the countryside and from the title of my first entry you may be able to guess what i'm about to say next. There are dead badgers EVERYWHERE! I seem to see these creatures at least every other car journey I take. Poor things... I feel sorry for them when I see them lying on the road.

Anyway, the first car journey I took was actually O.K. I was nervous getting into the car at first... kept on shaking! But as I actually drove the car every nervous tremble in my body seemed to disappear and being in front of the steering wheel was the most natural feeling in the world. I managed to stall the car only twice and after doing a 9 point turn in the narrowist road in England after I found out it was a dead end, I got home unharmed.

Since then, i've been to a mixture of towns and small villages and have only had a near collision once!

Will write soon, Ellie Ve X
